Alison Fitch (born December 31, 1972 ) is a former Australian triathlete .

Career

Alison Fitch played her first Ironman in 2000 . In 2003 she was able to qualify as the winner in the age group W25-29 at Ironman Australia for the first time for a starting place at Ironman Hawaii (Ironman World Championships).

She started as a professional athlete in 2005 and her husband Stuart is also an active triathlete. Her nickname is Ali . In June 2007 she was third at Ironman Switzerland . It has not appeared internationally since 2012.

Alison Fitch is now a coach and she lives in Darwin , where she also works as a physiotherapist.
