Aljaksandra Alehauna Ramanouskaja ( Belarusian Аляксандра Алегаўна Раманоўская ; born August 22, 1996 ) is a Belarusian freestyle skier . She starts in the aerials discipline . Her greatest success is the 2019 world championship.

biography

Ramanouskaja started for the first time at the beginning of the 2010/11 season in Ruka in the European Cup. In the further course of the season she got two wins and two third places, with which she won the Aerials discipline of the European Cup. In the following season she won again with two wins, two second and one third place in the European Cup aerials classification. On February 25, 2012, she made her debut in Minsk in the World Cup and finished ninth. After finishing third at the European Cup in Ruka at the beginning of the 2014/15 season , she made it into the top ten three times in four World Cup appearances. On January 30, 2015, she achieved her first World Cup victory in Lake Placid . At the 2015 World Championships on Kreischberg , she came 11th. At the end of the season she finished 9th in the Aerials World Cup and second in the Aerials ranking of the European Cup. At the Junior World Championships 2015 in Chiesa in Valmalenco , she won the gold medal.

In the 2015/16 season, Ramanouskaja achieved four top 10 finishes in six World Cup appearances, including third place in Minsk . As in the previous year, she finished ninth in the Aerials World Cup. At the Junior World Championships in Minsk in 2016, she won the gold medal for the second time in a row. In March 2016 she took 3rd and 1st place at the European Cup in Airolo , which was enough for 5th place in the aerials ranking. In the 2016/17 World Cup season , she achieved 11th place in the Aerials World Cup with five top 10 placements. At the 2017 World Championships in the Sierra Nevada , she jumped to 19th place. In the 2017/18 World Cup season , eighth place was her best result, at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games she came in 14th.

Ramanouskaja won the gold medal at the 2019 World Championships in Park City . She confirmed this success a week later with her second World Cup victory in Moscow . At the beginning of March 2019, she won the gold medal at the Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk . In the 2019/20 season she took second place twice at Shimao Lotus Mountain and won her third World Cup victory at the Deer Valley Resort . She finished third in the Aerials World Cup.
