Allen Rossum Bonshaca Lamont (* 22. October 1975 in Dallas , Texas ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the cornerbacks and return Specialists . In his career he played for the Philadelphia Eagles , Green Bay Packers , Atlanta Falcons , San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL).

Rossum attended high school in his hometown of Dallas , Texas . He later attended the University of Notre Dame .

NFL

Philadelphia Eagles

Rossum was selected in the 1998 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round in 85th place. He stayed here for two seasons and was employed as a return specialist and as a backup cornerback . During this time he scored a touchdown . In 1999, he set the franchise records for most kickoff returns and most kickoff return yards for the Eagles.

Green Bay Packersy

For the 2000 season he went to the Green Bay Packers for two years , where he scored a punt -return touchdown and a kickoff-return touchdown during this time .

Atlanta Falcons

In 2002 he moved to the Atlanta Falcons . Here he achieved several franchise records, including a. most punt return yards (1,723) and most kickoff return yards (5,489). He scored two punt-return touchdowns and two kickoff-return touchdowns in five years with the Falcons. In the 2004 play-off game against the St. Louis Rams , he ran 158 punt return yards, an NFL record for a play-off game.

Pittsburgh Steelers

For the 2007 season Rossum was transferred to the Pittsburgh Steelers . Here, however, he was released after only one season.

San Francisco 49ers

For the 2008 season Rossum signed a contract with the San Francisco 49ers . In the 2008 season he scored his first and only touchdown after a run against the Detroit Lions . He also scored a kickoff-return touch dwon that season.

Dallas Cowboys

On October 13, 2009, Rossum was signed by the Dallas Cowboys . In his first game of the season for the Cowboys Rossum sustained an injury. In November of that year, Rossum was fired and he resigned from American football.

Rossum is married and has four daughters.
