Everything can get better is the fourth studio album by German pop and soul singer Xavier Naidoo . The album was released on October 9, 2009 under Naidoo's own label Naidoo Records. It contains three partial albums, namely light 1 , light 2 and dark and light . There are a total of 35 tracks on the album. As singles, Everything Can Get Better , Hang On , I Need You , Wild with anger and Please don't stop dreaming were released.

A year earlier, Naidoo released the unplugged album MTV Unplugged - Wettsingen in Schwetzingen together with the Sons of Mannheims , which was released as a double CD. A year later, the album Everything can get better was released . The first two partial albums hell 1 and hell 2 contain the already well-known typical Naidoo songs, which are often about love, while the third partial album dunkHell deals more critically with some topics.

On October 16, 2009, a week after the album was released, the song Everything can get better , which was recorded with Janet Grogan , was released as the first single. The second single was released on February 26th, the song hold through . The song I need you was released on May 28, 2010 as the third single . The song Wild with Rage was released on October 22, 2010 as the fourth single and is also the soundtrack to the film Conference of the Animals . The song was recorded with the band Naturally 7 . As the fifth and final single, the song Please don't stop dreaming was released on October 22nd, 2010 , which later became the theme song of the RTL donation campaign We Help Children .

On the Rolling Stone website , Rüdiger Knopf rated the album rather poor with two out of five stars. He criticizes Naidoo as a person as well as the number of titles that, in his opinion, are mostly just "expressions of love" and "encouragement".

In Germany, the album reached number 1 in the album charts, making it the fifth Naidoo album to make it to the top of the charts in Germany. It is also the fourth studio album in a row, which Naidoo was able to place at number 1. The album stayed in the charts for a total of 103 weeks, making it Naidoo's longest chart success ever. In Austria the album was able to place itself up to number three and remained there for 31 weeks in the local charts. In Switzerland the album landed at number 2 and stayed there for a total of 42 weeks in the album charts.
