The Alleuze (also called Ruisseau des Ternes ) is a river in France that runs in the Cantal department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Cussac near the hamlet of Les Rials , in the southern municipality of Paulhac , generally drains in a south-easterly direction through the Volcans d'Auvergne Regional Nature Park and flows around 23 kilometers in the municipality of Alleuze in the backwater of the Barrage de Grandval on the right Tributary to the Truyère .
