geography
Cussac is located south of the Monts du Cantal mountain range , about 40 kilometers east-northeast of Aurillac . The river Épie runs along the western boundary of the municipality , in the north and east the river Alleuze , here called Ruisseau de Cussac , crosses a wetland .
