Pradier ( Occitan : same name) is a French municipality with 89 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Flour .

Pradiers is located around 29 kilometers northwest of the small town of Saint-Flour within the Volcans d'Auvergne Regional Nature Park .

history

Historically, the commune belongs to the Cézallier region within the Auvergne. Pradiers belonged to District Murat from 1793 to 1801 and was part of Canton Allanche from 1793 to 2015 .
