Paulhenc is located south of the Monts du Cantal mountain range , about 28 kilometers east-southeast of Aurillac am Brezons . The neighboring communities of Paulhenc are Saint-Martin-sous-Vigouroux in the north and north-west, Pierrefort in the north, Sainte-Marie in the east, Cantoin in the south and Thérondels in the west.
