Coren ( Occitan Corin ) is a central French city and a municipality with 434 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Flour and the canton of Saint-Flour-1 (until 2015 Saint-Flour-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Corentiens .

location

Coren is about three miles north of Saint-Flour . Coren is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rézentières in the north, Vieillespesse in the northeast, Mentières in the east, Saint-Georges in the south and southeast, Saint-Flour in the south, Andelat in the west and southwest and Talizat in the northwest.
