The Ammelbach in the Rhineland-Palatinate Donnersbergkreis is a 5.3 km long, southern and orographically right tributary of the Pfrimm .

The Ammelbach, which runs entirely in the southern part of the Alzeyer Hügelland natural area , rises in the southern part of the Donnersbergkreis in the Göllheimer Hügelland . Its source is in the Göllheim community in the parcel In den Kirschgärten . Immediately north-northeast one at 257.4  m above sea level. NHN nearby dirt road crossing is they are 400 meters southwest of the Gundheimerhofs to about 256  m altitude.

The Ammelbach runs in a predominantly north-easterly direction through a few local communities belonging to the association: it passes a little east of Rüssingen , then flows through Ottersheim and arrives at Bubenheim .

Finally, the Ammelbach in nature room reaches Medium Pfrimmtal with the valley region Zellertalblick Harxheim to after crossing the extending in the east-west direction Zellertalblick path and flowing through the Zeller community part Harxheim of south-southwest coming right side to about 153  m in there from the west flowing Rhein creek Pfrimm to lead . The federal road 47 runs across the Pfrimm to the north opposite the mouth in a west-east direction .
