Chon Daen District ( Thai อำเภอ ชนแดน ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) of Phetchabun province . Phetchabun Province is located in the southeastern part of the northern region of Thailand .

Amphoe Chon Daen is located in the west of Phetchabun Province and, viewed from the north, borders in a clockwise direction on Amphoe Wang Pong , Mueang Phetchabun , Nong Phai and Bueng Sam Phan in Phetchabun Province, Nong Bua in Nakhon Sawan Province and Dong Charoen and Thap Khlo in Phichit Province .
history
Chon Daen was first created in 1917 as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) . In 1956 it was raised to a full district (Amphoe) .

- Sala Lai (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ศาลา ลาย ) consisting of the complete Tambon Sala Lai.
- Chon Daen (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ชนแดน ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Chon Daen.
- Dong Khui (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ดง ขุย ) consisting of the parts of the tambon Dong Khui, Takut Rai.
- Tha Kham (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ท่า ข้าม ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Tha Kham.
In addition, there are eight " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)
- Chon Daen (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ชนแดน ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Chon Daen.
- Dong Khui (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ดง ขุย ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Dong Khui.
- Tha Kham (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ท่า ข้าม ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Tha Kham.
- Phutthabat (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล พุทธ บาท ) consisting of the complete tambon Phutthabat.
- Lat Khae (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ลาด แค ) consisting of the complete tambon Lat Khae.
- Ban Kluai (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล บ้าน กล้วย ) consisting of the complete tambon Ban Kluai.
- Sap Phutsa (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ซับ พุทรา ) consisting of the complete Tambon Sap Phutsa.
