Amphoe Nong Phai ( Thai อำเภอ หนอง ไผ ) is a district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) in Phetchabun Province . Phetchabun Province is located in the southeastern part of the northern region of Thailand .
geography
Amphoe Nong Phai is located in the east of Phetchabun Province. The area is shaped by the foothills of the Phetchabun Mountains . The main waterway is the Pa Sak River .
Amphoe Nong Phai is bordered clockwise from the south by Bueng Sam Phan , Chon Daen and Mueang Phetchabun from Phetchabun Province and Nong Bua Daeng and Phakdi Chumphon in Chaiyaphum Province .
history
Nong Phai was established in 1961 as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) . In 1963 it was upgraded to a full amphoe.

- Na Chaliang (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นา เฉลียง ) consisting of the parts of the Tambon Na Chaliang, Yang Ngam.
- Nong Phai (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนองไผ่ ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Nong Phai.
- Chaliang Thong (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เฉลียง ทอง ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Na Chaliang.
- Bo Thai (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ่อ ไทย ) consisting of the complete tambon Bo Thai.
- Bua Watthana (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บัว วัฒนา ) consisting of the complete tambon Bua Watthana.
In addition, there are nine " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)
