Amphoe Nam Nao ( Thai อำเภอ น้ำ หนาว ) is a district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) in Phetchabun Province . Phetchabun Province is located in the southeastern part of the northern region of Thailand .

geography

Amphoe Nam Nao is located in the northeast of Phetchabun Province and, viewed from the north, borders in a clockwise direction on Phu Luang and Phu Kradueng in Loei Province , Phu Pha Man in Khon Kaen Province , Khon San in Chaiyaphum Province and as well to the Amphoe Lom Sak and Lom Kao in Phetchabun Province.

history

Nam Nao was founded on November 16, 1978 as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) by separating the Tambon Nam Nao and Lak Dan from the Lom Sak district . The upgrade to an amphoe took place on July 19, 1991.

Attractions

Due to the mountainous area, Amphoe Nam Nao offers many natural beauties, most of which are located in the Nam Nao National Park .

  • Nam Nao (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล น้ำ หนาว ) consisting of the complete Tambon Nam Nao.
  • Lak Dan (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล หลัก ด่าน ) consisting of the complete Tambon Lak Dan.
  • Wang Kwang (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล วัง กวาง ) consisting of the complete tambon Wang Kwang.
  • Khok Mon (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล โคก ม น ) consisting of the complete tambon Khok Mon.
