Amphoe Tap Khlo ( Thai : อำเภอ ทับ คล้อ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the southeast of Phichit Province . Phichit Province is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand .

Neighboring counties (clockwise from the south): the Amphoe Dong Charoen , Bang Mun Nak , Taphan Hin and Wang Sai Phun of Phichit Province, Noen Maprang of Phitsanulok Province , and Wang Pong and Chon Daen of Phetchabun Province .
history
Tap Khlo was initially set up on July 15, 1996 as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) , consisting of four tambon that were split off from the Bang Mun Nak district. On August 13, 1987, Tap Khlo received full Amphoe status.

The district of Thap Khlo is divided into four tambon ("subdistricts" or "communities"), which are further subdivided into 56 muban ("villages").

There are two municipalities with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:
- Khao Sai (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เขา ทราย ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Thap Khlo.
- Thap Khlo (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ทับ คล้อ ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Khao Sai.
There are also four " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)
- Thap Khlo (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ทับ คล้อ ) consisting of parts of the tambon Thap Khlo.
- Khao Sai (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล เขา ทราย ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Khao Sai.
- Khao Chet Luk (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล เขา เจ็ด ลูก ) consisting of the complete tambon Khao Chet Luk.
- Thai Thung (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ท้าย ทุ่ง ) consisting of the complete Tambon Thai Thung.
