Amphoe Sak Lek ( Thai : อำเภอ สาก เหล็ก ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the northeast of the province of Phichit . Phichit Province is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand .

Neighboring counties (clockwise from the south): the Amphoe Wang Sai Phun and Mueang Phichit of Phichit Province, and Bang Krathum , Wang Thong and Noen Maprang of Phitsanulok Province .

history

Sak Lek was initially set up on April 1, 1995 as a “branch circle” ( King Amphoe ) by splitting off the three tambon Sak Lek, Tha Yiam, and Khlong Sai from Mueang Phichit . On May 15, 2007, the Thai government decided to raise all 81 subdistricts to "normal" Amphoe status in order to simplify administration. With its publication in the Royal Gazette on August 24, 2007, this decision officially entered into force.

  • Sak Lek (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล สาก เหล็ก ) consisting of parts of the tambon Sak Lek.
  • Tha Yiam (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ท่า เยี่ยม ) consisting of the complete tambon Tha Yiam.
  • Khlong Sai (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล คลอง ทราย ) consisting of the complete tambon Khlong Sai.
  • Nong Ya Sai (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล หนอง หญ้า ไทร ) consisting of the complete tambon Nong Ya Sai.
  • Wang Thap Sai (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล วัง ทับ ไทร ) consisting of the complete tambon Wang Thap Sai.
