Amphoe Kapho ( Thai : อำเภอ กะพ้อ ) is a district ( amphoe - administrative district) in Pattani Province . The Pattani Province is located in the southeast of the southern region of Thailand on the Gulf of Thailand .

Neighboring counties and areas are (clockwise from northwest): Amphoe Thung Yang Daeng and Sai Buri in Pattani Province, Amphoe Bacho in Narathiwat Province, and Amphoe Raman in Yala Province .
history
Kapho was initially set up as a subdistrict ( King Amphoe ) on March 15, 1982 , by separating the three southern tambon from the Sai Buri district . On November 4, 1993, Kapho got full amphoe status.
