Amphoe Mae Phrik ( Thai อำเภอ แม่พริก , pronunciation: ʔāmpʰɤ̄ː mɛ̂ː pʰrík ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the southern part of Lampang Province . The Lampang Province is located in the northern region of Thailand .

Neighboring districts are (from the northeast clockwise): Amphoe Thoen of Lampang province, Sam Ngao the Tak Province and Li of Lamphun province .

Mae Phrik County is divided into four tambon ("subdistricts" or "parishes"), which are further subdivided into 30 muban ("villages").

There are three municipalities with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:
- Phra Bat Wang Tuang (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล พระบาท วัง ตวง ) consisting of the complete tambon Phra Bat Wang Tuang.
- Mae Pu (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล แม่ ปุ ) consisting of the complete tambon Mae Pu.
- Mae Phrik (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล แม่พริก ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Mae Phrik.
There is also a " Tambon Administration Organization " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organization, TAO)
- Mae Phrik (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล แม่พริก ) consisting of the complete Tambon Pha Pang and parts of the Tambon Mae Phrik.
