Amphoe Mueang Uttaradit (in Thai อำเภอ เมือง อุตรดิตถ์ , pronunciation: ʔāmpʰɤ̄ː mɯ̄aŋ ʔùt.tā.rā.dìt ) is a district ( amphoe administrative district) in the province of Uttaradit . The Uttaradit Province is located in the northern region of Thailand .
The district of Amphoe Mueang Uttaradit includes the provincial capital Uttaradit .
geography
Uttaradit is about 450 kilometers north of the capital Bangkok . The wide plain of the Mae Nam Nan ( Nan River ) contributes to a certain monotony of the surroundings.
Neighboring districts are (clockwise from north): Amphoe Den Chai of Phrae Province and Amphoe Tha Pla , Thong Saen Khan , Tron and Laplae of Uttaradit Province.
