The Löwenberg Office was an office in the state of Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which ten communities in the former districts of Oranienburg and Gransee (today the district of Oberhavel , Brandenburg) had come together to form an administrative association. The official seat was in the community of Löwenberg . The Löwenberg office was dissolved in 1997.

On July 16, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg gave his approval for the establishment of the Löwenberg office. July 21, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office was based in the community of Löwenberg and initially consisted of ten communities in the former districts of Oranienburg and Gransee :

  3. Großmutz (incl. Hoppenrade district )
  4. Grueneberg
  5. Gutengermendorf
  6. Häsen (including the districts of Klevesche houses and Neuhäsen )
  7. Löwenberg (including the Linde district )
  8. Neulöwenberg (including Liebenberg district )
  9. Falkenthal
  10. Teschendorf

On December 31, 1997, the communities of Falkenthal, Glambeck, Grieben, Großmutz, Grüneberg, Gutengermendorf, Häsen, Löwenberg, Neulöwenberg and Teschendorf merged to form the new community of Löwenberger Land . At the same time, the Löwenberg office was dissolved.

As a result of the later incorporation of originally independent communities (Neuendorf and Nassenheide), the area of ​​the community of Löwenberger Land increased significantly compared to the area of ​​the Löwenberg office.
