history

In 1803 the district courts of Pfarrkirchen and Simbach am Inn as well as Eggenfelden were established. They belonged to the Lower Danube District , which was renamed Lower Bavaria in 1838 . Between 1810 and 1816 the Simbach court was united with Braunau . In 1862 the district courts of Pfarrkirchen and Simbach am Inn formed the district office of Pfarrkirchen as the administrative authority. The Simbach am Inn district court continued to exist as a judicial authority. On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was formed in Simbach, the district of which was the same as that of the previous district court in Simbach and therefore from the towns of Eggstetten , Ering , Erlach , Gumpersdorf , Julbach , Kirchberg am Inn and Kirchdorf am Inn , Münchham , Obertürken , Randling , Schildthurn , Simbach, Stubenberg , Tann , Taubenbach , Ulbering , Wiesing , Wittibreut and Zimmer was composed. The next higher instance was the Passau Regional Court .

When the law on the organization of ordinary courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) came into force on July 1, 1973, the Simbach District Court was repealed and its district was assigned to the Eggenfelden District Court .
