Ana Maria Crnogorčević (born October 3, 1990 in Steffisburg ) is a Swiss-Croatian soccer player . The striker and defender is under contract with FC Barcelona and plays for the Swiss national team , of which she has been the record scorer since June 2016.
Career
Crnogorčević began her career at the age of eleven at FC Steffisburg. In 2004 she moved to FC Rot-Schwarz Thun , which was later taken over by FC Thun . In 2009 she won the Cup final with her team . Crnogorčević scored three goals in the 8-0 win over FC Schlieren . In addition, she was the top scorer in the National League A with 24 goals in 16 games . For the 2009/10 season she moved to the German Bundesliga club Hamburger SV. She made her debut in the HSV dress on September 27, 2009, where she scored a goal in a 3-2 win at SG Essen-Schönebeck . For the 2011/12 season she moved to 1. FFC Frankfurt , with whom she won the Champions League in 2015 . From 2018 to 2019 she played in the National Women's Soccer League for Portland Thorns FC for two years . In December 2019, she moved to FC Barcelona . She signed a contract until summer 2021.
Crnogorčević played 29 times for the Swiss U-19 team and scored 25 goals. At the U-19 European Championship in Belarus in 2009 , she reached the semi-finals with her team. On August 12, 2009 she made her debut in a friendly against Sweden in the Swiss national team. She took part in the 2015 World Cup with the Swiss women's national football team and reached the round of 16. After failing in the qualifying tournament for the 2016 Olympic Games, Crnogorčević managed to qualify for the 2017 European Championship in the Netherlands with the Swiss national team . On June 4, she replaced Lara Dickenmann as the Swiss record scorer with two goals in the qualifying game against the Czech Republic .
