Anastasia Griffith (born March 23, 1978 in Paris , France ) is a British actress .

Life

Born in Paris to a Northern Irish and an American , Anastasia Griffith grew up in London . She has six older brothers; one of them is Jamie Bamber, also a successful actor . Griffith first studied art history at the University of Bristol before discovering her true passion, acting, and enrolling at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art .

Griffith has been in front of the camera since 2004. Their breakthrough achieved in the same year in a supporting role in the film comedy Alfie alongside Jew Law . In 2007 she was hired for the television series Damages - Im Netz der Macht . She then played Nancy Carnahan in the NBC series Trauma in 2009 and played Elizabeth Haverford in the BBC America series Copper from 2012 to 2013 .
