Anastassija Vyacheslavovna Kalina ( Russian Анастасия Вячеславовна Калина ; born September 1, 1989 in Pskow ) is a Belarusian, previously Russian biathlete .
Anastassija Kalina made her international debut in the IBU Junior Cup in 2008 with a victory in an individual in Langdorf . Shortly afterwards she took part in her first Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding . Kalina was used in all four races and always achieved top ten results. In the individual, she came in ninth place, was tenth in the sprint, fourth in the pursuit and fifth in the relay race. It should remain the only major junior event for the Russian woman without a medal. A year later she took part in three races in Canmore . She was eighth in the sprint and sixth in the pursuit. With Anastassija Romanowa and Olga Wiluchina she won the silver medal behind the relay of the Czech Republic. This was followed by participation in the junior races at the 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa . In the sprint she won the silver medal behind Wiluchina and missed another medal in fourth place in the pursuit race, as she swapped places with fourth place in the sprint, Anastassija Romanowa. With Wiluchina and Romanowa she won the relay race title. Kalina also started successfully later in the year in Oberhof in the roller ski competitions for juniors at the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships . The Russian was 13th in the sprint, fifth in the pursuit and won the mixed relay title with Romanova, Sergei Kugubaev and Pawel Magaseev. 2010 Kalina started in Torsby for the third time at a Junior World Championship and came again to four appearances. She achieved the worst results with fourth places in the individual and sprint. In the pursuit race she won the silver medal behind Sophie Boilley and relegated Solemdal and the spint winner Maren Hammerschmidt to the places, with Larissa Kuznetsova and Swetlana Perminova the title in the relay race. The junior races at the 2010 European Biathlon Championships in Otepää were also successful for the Russian. In the individual, she still missed the top ten in twelfth place and then won the silver medals in the sprint and the pursuit behind Tiril Eckhoff and Synnøve Solemdal as well as with Kuznetsowa, Evgeni Petrow and Maksim Burtassow in the mixed relay race behind the French. The last use among the juniors was participation in the 2010 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Duszniki-Zdrój . Kalina won two gold medals with the sprint and with Perminova, Petrow and Burtassow in the mixed relay race.
Since the end of the 2009/10 season , Kalina has started in the women's performance category. Her first race in the IBU Cup was in a sprint in Pokljuka , which she finished ninth. At the start of the following season , the Russian won her first IBU Cup race with a sprint in Beitostølen .
Kalina started for Belarus in the 2013/14 season. At the 2014 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě , she won the individual silver medal.
