André Georgi

André Georgi (* 1965 in Copenhagen , Denmark ) is a writer and screenwriter .

Life

Georgi grew up in Berlin and studied philosophy and German . He wrote scripts for several episodes of the crime series Bella Block , Marie Brand and Tatort , for the series last trace in Berlin , for the feature film Löwenzahn - Das Kino Adventure and the Siegfried Lenz film adaptation The flood is punctual . 2015 he was together with Ferdinand von Schirach for the following festival of detective series guilt by Ferdinand von Schirach with the Bavarian Television Award.

In 2014, Georgi published his first novel Tribunal , which deals with the commander of an elite Serbian force who is charged with war crimes committed during the Bosnian War at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague . With a story about Caspar David Friedrich's picture The Monk by the Sea , Georgi won the literature scholarship as Sylt island writer in 2017 .
