André Trepoll
André Trepoll (born July 28, 1977 in Celle ) is a Hamburg politician of the CDU and Vice President of the Hamburg Parliament .
Life
Trepoll spent his early childhood in Celle. He grew up in a "family of soldiers". His father was a civil servant in the middle service and his mother a commercial clerk. In 1979 the family moved to Neu Wulmstorf . In 1990 the company moved to Neugraben-Fischbek . There he attended the Catholic School Neugraben when he was at primary school. After graduating from high school in 1997 at the Friedrich-Ebert-Gymnasium , Trepoll did his military service . This was followed by a law degree at the University of Hamburg and a legal clerkship in Bremen and Lower Saxony . He then worked until shortly after the Hamburg state elections in 2015 as the head of the legal department of the Hamburg State Representation of the Federation of German Industries , the IVH-Industrieverband Hamburg.

André Trepoll has been a member of the Junge Union Hamburg since 1993 and was its state chairman from 2002 to 2006. In addition, he has been a member of the CDU district board in Harburg and the CDU state board since 2004 . From 1997 to 2004 he was a member of the Süderelbe local committee and since 2004 chairman of the Süderelbe CDU local association.
MP
Trepoll has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since March 17, 2004. In the state election on February 29, 2004 , he moved into parliament for the first time - still as a student - with the CDU state list position 45. He sat for his group in the Home Affairs Committee and Legal Affairs Committee. Also in the supervisory bodies - letter, post and telecommunications secrecy, constitutional protection and housing surveillance. He was also a member of the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (PUA) on information transfer. He was a specialist in domestic politics (focus: public service).
In the 2008 state elections , he was re-elected as a student - this time in 24th place on the list.
As the top candidate in his constituency of Süderelbe , he was re-elected in the early elections in 2011 ; his party, however, had to go into opposition.
In the citizenship election campaign in 2015 , Trepoll won a direct mandate in his constituency of the Süderelbe and has been a member of the 21st Hamburg citizenship since March 2015. After a citizenship election result of 15.9 percent for the CDU, Trepoll was elected chairman of the CDU parliamentary group on February 25, 2015 with 19 votes in favor and one against - as the successor to Dietrich Wersich . He is the spokesman for constitutional matters.
On February 23, 2020, Trepoll again succeeded in entering the Hamburg parliament . There he was elected Vice President on April 1, 2020. Dennis Thering took over the chairmanship of the parliamentary group .
Committee memberships
Currently (as of January 2018) Trepoll sits for his parliamentary group in the committee for cooperation between the states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, in the committee for justice and data protection, constitutional and district committee: Subcommittee "Strengthening Hamburg citizenship", in the submission committee , in the special committee: Violent riots around the G20 summit in Hamburg and in the constitutional and district committee.
Other functions and memberships
Trepoll is a board member of the Jürgen Echternach Foundation for Education and Democracy eV and u. a. Member of the local political association of the CDU and CSU of Germany in Hamburg.
Private
André Trepoll has been married since 2012. His wife is a teacher at a Hamburg high school. They are parents of a daughter and a son.
