Andrea Diefenbach

Andrea Diefenbach (born April 19, 1974 in Wiesbaden ) is a German photographer .

Life

After her professional training in the years 1995-1998 she worked as a photographer and photo assistant. From 2000 to 2006 she studied at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences . Since 2003 she has been working as a freelance photographer and in 2005 published her pictures in an illustrated book about cystic fibrosis patients and in 2006 about the residents of a Jewish old people's home .

In 2008 her photo book was published about the Ukrainian port city of Odessa and the people suffering from AIDS (Russian: СПИД / SPID) there. After her trip to Moldova and Italy, she described the situation of abandoned children and their parents who live as migrant workers abroad in an illustrated book .

She published her photographs and photo reports a. a. in Brigitte , brand eins , Geo , Stern , Die Zeit .
