Andrea Gaudenzi (born July 30, 1973 in Faenza ) is a former Italian tennis player .

Career

In 1990 Gaudenzi won the Junior Grand Slam tournaments in Roland Garros and the US Open . The right-hander turned professional that same year. Numerous injuries threw the Italian back again and again.

He won three singles tournaments and two doubles titles on the ATP Tour . He achieved his best placement in the ATP ranking in 1995 with 18th place in the individual.

With the Italian Davis Cup team he reached the final in 1998 , which was lost 4-1 to Sweden .
