Andreas Nielsen (politician, 1910)

Andreas "Anda" Niels Adam Kristian Nielsen (born March 10, 1910 in Qoornoq ; † 1993 ) was a Greenlandic lawyer and councilor .

Anda Nielsen was the son of the hunter Kristian Rasmus Mathæus Nielsen (1865–?) And his wife Ane Emilie Karen Egede (1879–?). His cousin was the writer Frederik Nielsen (1905-1991). Andreas Nielsen was a member of the local council for many years and a member of the regional council from 1959 to 1966. In 1949 he was a member of the Greenland Commission . He worked before his retirement in 1969 in the management of the coal mine in Qullissat , Kreis was judge and juror in Grønlands Landsret . He was also a choirmaster, co-founded the Christian Association in Qullissat and worked for the radio. He was the holder of the Kongelige Belønningsmedalje 2nd degree with crown and died in 1993 at the age of 83.
