Andrew Bumbalough

Andrew Bumbalough (born March 14, 1987 ) is an American long-distance runner .

In 2011 he came in at the Cross Country World Championships in Punta Umbría on the 77th place and was eliminated at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu over 5000 m in the preliminary run.

At the 2014 Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech, he was seventh over 5000 m.

In 2015, he finished fifth in the New York City Half Marathon .

After achieving a personal best in the Tokyo Marathon in February 2017 with 2:13:58 hours, in May he supported the runners in Nike's Breaking2 project as a " pacer " with the goal of running a marathon in under 2 hours. The Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge failed with a finishing time of 2:00:25 hours just at the target mark. In October, Bumbalough was thirteenth in the Chicago Marathon in 2:14:04 hours.

When Boston Marathon 2018 took Bumbalough fifth.
