Andrzej Bartkowiak
Andrzej Bartkowiak (* 1950 in Łódź ) is a Polish cameraman and film director .
Life
He has lived in the USA since the 1970s and began his career as a cameraman there. His first known works were films by Sidney Lumet , followed by many well-known works in the 1980s and 1990s, including Speed and Lethal Weapon 4 . He made his directorial debut in 2000 with the action film Romeo Must Die and has worked mainly as a director ever since.
Bartkowiak was in a relationship with actress Diane Venora in the 1980s and has a daughter named Magda with her.
