Anett Fritsch
Anett Fritsch (born 1986 in Plauen ) is a German opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
Fritsch completed the Adolph-Diesterweg-Gymnasium in her hometown and then studied with Jürgen Kurth at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . She was performed by Ruth Ziesak and Anna Reynolds (1930-2014) and is accompanied vocally by Carol Vaness . Between 2001 and 2007 she won several singing competitions.
During her first engagement at the Leipzig Opera , she sang a number of smaller roles, such as Giannetta in L'elisir d'amore or Frasquita in Carmen . This was followed by Mimi in La Bohème at Theater Bielefeld and Marzelline in Fidelio at the Tyrolean Festival in Erl . Fritsch has been a member of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein ensemble since 2009 , where, in addition to central Mozart roles - Pamina , Konstanze and Susanna - she also sang Marie in Donizetti's La fille du régiment , Anne Trulove in Stravinsky's The Rake's Progress and Blanche in Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmélites .
In 2011 Fritsch made his successful debut at the Glyndebourne Festival , as Almirena in Handel's Rinaldo , in 2012 at the Theater an der Wien , as Merione in Gluck's Telemaco under René Jacobs , and finally in 2013 at the Teatro Real in Madrid , as Fiordiligi in the acclaimed Michael Haneke production of Mozart So fan tutte . In this production, Fritsch could also be seen and heard at the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels and at the Wiener Festwochen 2014. On a concert tour with René Jacobs and the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra in autumn 2013 - including in Paris , Lyon and Barcelona - she sang Cherubino for the first time in a concert . In July 2014 she made her debut at the Salzburg Festival , as Donna Elvira in a new Don Giovanni production by Sven-Eric Bechtolf with Christoph Eschenbach at the podium.
In September 2014 she sang the Countess of Figaro for the first time at the Teatro Real in Madrid , which she also took over in April 2015 at the Theater an der Wien and will also play at the 2015 Salzburg Festival in a Sven-Eric Bechtolf production. In between, she made her scenic debut as Cherubino at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich in June 2015 . Fritsch is one of the few singers who embodied all three central female roles in Le nozze di Figaro .
