Anin ( German  Annenhof ) is a small village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , which belongs to the urban and rural community Morąg (Mohrungen) in the powiat Ostródzki ( Osterode district ).

geography

Anin is located seven kilometers northwest of the town of Morąg (Mohrungen) on a side road that leads from Morąg to Samdbród ( (Great) Samrodt ). In town, the road is crossed by a country road connecting Królewo (King's Village) and Kamionka (Stone Village) . The nearest train station is Dobrocinek (Neu Bestendorf) on the railway line from Olsztyn (Allenstein) to Bogaczewo (Güldenboden) to continue to Elbląg (Elbing) .

history

Until 1945, today's Anin consisted of only a small courtyard as the Annenhof . The place was founded in 1854, but died in 1880. In 1910 the Vorwerk Annenhof was re-established , which at that time belonged to the Neuhof estate (now in Polish: Nowy Dwór) in the Georgenthal district (now in Polish: Jurki) in the Mohrungen district ( Königsberg district ) in the Prussian province of East Prussia .

On October 31, 1928, the rural communities of Rollnau (Rolnowo), Steinsdorf (Kamionka) and Neu Bestendorf (Dobrocinek), as well as the exclave of Annenhof in the Neuhof estate, merged to form a new rural community of Rollnau. On September 21, 1929, this was reclassified from the Georgenthal district to the Kahlau district (now in Polish: Kalnik).

In 1945 the small Annenhof was assigned to southern East Prussia in Poland . Until 1973 the place belonged to the powiat Morąski (district Mohrungen ) and from 1975 to 1998 to the Voivodeship Olsztyn (Allenstein) . Today Anin is a settlement (Polish: osada) in the area of the urban and rural community Morąg (Mohrungen) in the powiat Ostróda ( Osterode district ) in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

Religions

Evangelical

Until 1945 the population of Annehof was mostly Protestant and parish in the parish Kahlau - Hagenau (Polish: Kalnik-Chojnik) (parish in Kahlau). That belonged to the church district Mohrungen in the church province of East Prussia of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union . The only few Protestant church members in Anin today are now incorporated into Ostróda (Osterode) with a branch church in Morąg . The parish of Ostróda belongs to the Masuria diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .

Catholic

Before 1945 there were only a few Catholics in Annenhof, today there are predominantly Catholic residents in Anin . The next parish church is in Chojnik (Haguenau) in the deanery Morąg (Mohrungen) in the diocese of Elbląg (Elbing) of the Catholic Church in Poland .
