Anja Kaesmacher , since she married Anja Börner (born September 3, 1974 in Trier ) is a German opera singer ( soprano ), singing teacher and high school teacher .

Life

She studied with Charlotte Lehmann and Ingeborg Hallstein at the University of Music in Würzburg and completed her studies in 2000 with the opera and concert exams. She has been taught by Monika Bürgener since 2006 . In the 1997/98 season she made her debut at the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg and was part of the house's ensemble until 2008. In 2008 she decided to go freelance.

Guest appearances have taken her to the Wiesbaden State Theater , State Theater Braunschweig , Kassel State Theater , State Theater Meiningen , Bielefeld Theater , City Theater Heidelberg , Theater Chemnitz etc. In the field of contemporary music Anja Kaesmacher worked with conductors such. B. Jun Märkl , Matthias Pintscher , Rupert Huber and the orchestras of the SWR and MDR and participates in festivals such as "Musica Viva" in Strasbourg and the festival "Eclat" in Stuttgart. The highlights include some world premieres of Manfred Trojahn's works . In addition to her artistic work, she studied Catholic religion and philosophy at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen from 2010 to 2011 and passed the second state examination for teaching at high schools in the subjects of music and ethics in May 2014. Anja Kaesmacher has also been qualified to teach the subject of performing games since 2015 .

She lives in Hessen, is married to the German tenor Heiko Börner and has two sons.
