Anne-Gaëlle Sidot (born July 24, 1979 in Enghien-les-Bains ) is a former French tennis player .

Career

Sidot played on the professional tour from 1994. She reached a final on the WTA Tour . She was also six times in a semi-finals and 13 times in a quarter-finals. Sidot reached the third round once in all four Grand Slam tournaments . She also won two WTA double titles, in Leipzig in 2000 and in Nice in 2001. In 1999 she moved to the side of Kristie Boogert at the Wimbledon lawn tournament in the quarterfinals.

In 1997 she played her only game for the French Fed Cup team . In 2002 she ended her tennis career.

She is a member of the "Generation 1979" together with Amélie Mauresmo , Nathalie Dechy , Émilie Loit and Séverine Brémond .
