Anneliese Wert

Anneliese Wert (born January 20, 1922 in Würzburg , † July 3, 2008 in Bad Kissingen ) was a German actress.

Life

The daughter of a district court president came to the theater group " Franconian Theater " in Wetzhausen Castle in one of her first engagements in 1949 after her acting training . Here she played many important roles until the mid-1950s, such as Katharina in Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew and Eboli in Schiller's Don Karlos as well as in Strindberg's Rausch , Sartre's The Dirty Hands or The Cunning Susanne by Lope de Vega .

During this time, Wert was married to the founder of the "Franconian Theater", Oskar Ballhaus . The children's book illustrator Verena Ballhaus comes from this marriage . Wert later played on stages in Celle , Bremen and finally in Mannheim .

At the Westfälische Kammerspiele in Paderborn , she was engaged together with her second husband, the actor, director and artistic director Götz Olaf Rausch , and played there a. a. in Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt .

She always remained connected to the “Franconian Theater”, which had meanwhile moved to Schloss Maßbach , and continued to take on roles here in later years. Most recently she was seen in Maßbach as the grandmother in Robert Thomas 8 Women and as Desolina in Don Camillo .

Occasionally, Wert also appeared on television. B. in 1989 in the crime scene beer on tap .
