Annemarie Seite , née Brandt (born October 13, 1939 in Stralsund ) is a German veterinarian and politician ( CDU ). From 1992 to 1994 she was a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Life

Annemarie Seite attended elementary school from 1946 to 1953 and the Hansa Oberschule in Stralsund from 1953 to 1957 with high school diploma. She then did a “practical year” at the LPG Grünhufe in the Stralsund district. From 1958 to 1963 she studied veterinary medicine at the Veterinary Faculty of the Humboldt University in Berlin . This was followed by work as a compulsory assistant in Wismar , Greifswald and Neubrandenburg . From February 1965 to April 1991 she was the head of a state veterinary practice in Walow . In 1973 she received her doctorate from the Humboldt University in Berlin. med. vet.

After the local elections in the GDR in May 1990 , she became honorary mayor of Walow. From May 1991 to June 1992 she was the administrative director of the Sietow administrative association . In October 1991 she became a member of the CDU and in May 1992 a member of the CDU district committee for goods . In March 1992 she became head of the Malchow-Land office . On July 1, 1992, she replaced Christian Gienapp as a member of the CDU parliamentary group in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament , to which she was a member until 1994.

In 2009 she was awarded the "Dr. Siegfried Witte Prize" from the CDU Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Annemarie Seite has been married to Berndt Seite since 1964 and is the mother of two children. She lives in Walow.
