Antônio Emidio Vilar
Antônio Emidio Vilar SDB (born November 14, 1957 in Guardinha , Brazil ) is Bishop of São João da Boa Vista .
Life
Antônio Emidio Vilar entered the religious order of the Salesians of Don Bosco and received on 9 August 1986, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On July 23, 2008 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of São Luíz de Cáceres . The Archbishop of São Paulo , Odilo Pedro Cardinal Scherer , donated him episcopal ordination on September 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Tubarão , Hilário Moser SDB, and the bishop emeritus of São Luíz de Cáceres, José Vieira de Lima TOR . The inauguration took place on October 25 of the same year.
On September 28, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of São João da Boa Vista. The inauguration took place on November 20 of the same year.
