history

The band was formed in 2003 by four 17-year-old school friends. At first they were limited to re-enacting songs from other bands, but soon self-composed songs were played.

In the summer of 2004, a self-financed demo was recorded, which aroused the interest of local concert organizers and the band performed supportive appearances at u. a. DragonForce , The Black Dahlia Murder , Himsa and 3 Inches of Blood .

New songs were recorded at Sonic One Studios. The recordings were produced by Tim Hamill. During the writing process, Luke Davies developed health problems that made playing the guitar permanently impossible. All guitar tracks were therefore recorded by Leon Kemp. Supported by social networks like MySpace , the band became known to a wider public, which resulted in a worldwide record deal with Metal Blade Records . Support appearances for As I Lay Dying , Sanctity , 3 Inches of Blood, The Black Dahlia Murder and The Ocean followed.

The debut album This Age of Silence was released worldwide on June 12, 2007. As a replacement on guitar for Luke Davies, the former guitarist of Mendeed Steven Nixon was hired.
