Anton Stark

Anton Stark (born August 23, 1929 in Dirgenheim ; † February 10, 2018 ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Stark was born the fifteenth child of a farmer. After graduating from the Humanities College in Rottweil he studied Catholic theology in Tubingen , moved briefly to the pedagogical institute in Schwabisch Gmund, before studying law at the universities of Tübingen and Bonn recorded that he in 1959 with the graduation to the Dr. jur. on the concept of the social constitutional state in the Basic Law and ended in 1960 with the second state examination. From 1960 to 1965 he worked as a social and legal consultant at the state farmers' association in Stuttgart and in 1967 became an independent lawyer in Kirchheim unter Teck. Since 1961 he was married to Berta Jenninger, a sister of the CDU politician Philipp Jenninger . The couple had two daughters and two sons.

Political party

Stark joined the CDU in 1956 and was a member of the state board of the Junge Union Nordwürttemberg in 1963/64 .

MP

Stark was a member of the German Bundestag from 1965 to 1990. In parliament he represented from 1965 to 1980 the constituency Nuertingen-Böblingen and 1980-1990 the constituency Nuertingen . From 1972 to 1976 he was deputy chairman of the Committee on Electoral Examination, Immunity and Rules of Procedure, from 1980 to 1983 initially deputy chairman and from 1983 to September 1984 then chairman of the legal committee.
