Anton von Chlapowski , Polish: Antoni Chłapowski, (born January 15, 1855 in Ustaszewo ; † July 9, 1927 in Posen ) was a doctor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Chlapowski attended the Mariengymnasium in Poznan and made the Abitur as an extraneus in Wongrowitz . He studied medicine in Breslau and Halle , passed the state examination in Halle and did his doctorate in Leipzig . He ran a medical practice in West Prussia and Posen and was a spa doctor in Sopot , Landeck and Kolberg . He was also city councilor in Crone and Posen and a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1901 to 1908. He was also a member of the Polish district and provincial election committee until 1907.

From 1903 to 1907 and from 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Posen 8 Wreschen , Pleschen , Jarotschin and the Polish parliamentary group .
