Antonia Kraus

Antonia Kraus (* 23. July 1995 in Meiningen ) is a German book - and radio play - author .

Life

Antonia Kraus was born in 1995 in the Thuringian district town of Meiningen. She comes from a Franconian-Romanian family. Your parents work in the finance and education sectors. She attended the special science class at the Goetheschule Ilmenau .

Kraus got involved in the aid organization Menschen für Menschen at the age of 10 when she and a friend organized a flea market at the Meiningen primary school Ludwig Chronegk , the proceeds of which went to a new school building in Babille . She had previously worked as a narrator on The Magic of Africa , the first CD in the radio play series Celebrities read African fairy tales . She did the same with her brother Artur on the successor Ein Märchenbrunnen für Afrika , for which, as for the third CD in the series ( Ein Märchenschatz aus Afrika ), she also wrote the introductory texts.

Antonia Kraus studied until 2017 at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich Mathematics , since 2018 it is editorially involved in a Berlin publishing house. She is a member of the Friedrich Bödecker Circle .

Works

In 2010 Kraus' first book Weltenstrudel was published with a foreword by TV presenter Enie van de Meiklokjes in Papierfresserchens MTM-Verlag . Her second novel, Xaverna - Stauffenberg goes by bike, published by Knabe Verlag Weimar , followed in October 2014 , with a foreword by Sara Nuru .

Until the beginning of 2016 Antonia Kraus wrote the audio book for A Magic Train to Africa . Steinbach spoke books published in March of the same year . Celebrities such as Frank Schöbel , Thomas Rühmann , Matthias Koeberlin and Julia Simic were involved .

For the Leipzig Book Fair 2018 Arithmos: Das Morathis-Rätsel Kraus' third novel was published, again by Knabe-Verlag. The second part of Arithmos followed in 2019 : The Invasion of Signs , again on the occasion of the Leipzig Book Fair. The third volume, Arithmos: Die Intrige , was published in March 2020 and should also be presented at the Leipzig Book Fair, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany .
