Antonio Ángel Algora Hernando (born October 2, 1940 in La Vilueña ) is a Spanish clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Ciudad Real .

Life

Antonio Ángel Algora Hernando received on 23 December 1967, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Teruel y Albarracín on July 11, 1985 . The Apostolic Nuncio in Spain , Archbishop Mario Tagliaferri , donated him episcopal ordination on September 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Cardinal Vicente Enrique y Tarancón , Old Archbishop of Madrid , and Cardinal Angel Suquía Goicoechea , Archbishop of Madrid.

On March 20, 2003, he was appointed Bishop of Ciudad Real.

Pope Francis took his age-related resignation on April 8, 2016.
