Antonio Crameri

Antonio Crameri SSC (born January 4, 1969 in Locarno , Canton Ticino , Switzerland ) is a Swiss religious and appointed Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Guayaquil .

Life

Antonio Crameri joined the Society of St. Giuseppe Benedetto Cottolengo in Turin at and received on 8 June 1996, the sacrament of Holy Orders . At the International Institute for Theology of the Pastoral Care of the Sick in Rome , which is subordinate to the Pontifical Faculty of Teresianum , he obtained a degree in pastoral theology .

Antonio Crameri then worked in the community of his religious community in Pinerolo and in the La Verbena community , which is dedicated to the accompaniment of drug addicts. He then taught at the Piccola Casa seminary in Turin. In 2002 Crameri was sent to Ecuador and became pastor of the parish of Santa Marianita in the Vicariate Apostolic Esmeraldas , coordinator of catechesis , member of the council of priests and responsible for the formation of permanent deacons . From 2016 he was pastor of the parish of San Agustín in the Archdiocese of Portoviejo .

On December 20, 2019 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Apollonia and auxiliary bishop in Guayaquil.
