Apti Khamsatowitsch Auchadow

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Apti Khamsatowitsch Auchadow ( Russian Апти Хамзатович Аухадов ; born November 18, 1992 in Urus-Martan ) is a Russian weightlifter . In 2011 he was European champion in snatching and vice-European champion in duels, both in light heavyweight and in 2013 world champion in duels and jerks.

Career

Apti Auchadov is of Chechen descent and achieved top performances at the age of 17, which indicate that he must have started this sport very early. It is not known which weightlifting center he trains in or who his trainers are.

The first result that is known of him is that of the European Junior Championship (U17) in Amiens in 2008 . He won there in the middleweight division with 317 kg (147-170) in a duel before Xhuljp Prroni from Albania , who was almost 40 kg behind him with 280 kg (125-155) in a duel. At the Russian Junior Championship (U 20) in 2008 he achieved a fantastic 345 kg (163-182) in a duel for his age and set a new junior world record with his performance in the snap of 163 kg.

In 2009, Apri Auchadow was relegated to second place at the European Junior Championships (U 20) in Landskrona in the light heavyweight division with 347 kg (152-195) by the three-year-old Polish Adrian Zieliński , who achieved 362 kg (172-190) , but won the junior champion title in pushing. At the Junior World Championships of the same year in Bucharest he came in the light heavyweight to 356 kg (163-193) and thus finished behind Zieliński, who reached 368 kg (169-199) in 2nd place. In 2010 he increased in the Russian Junior Championship (U 20) in the light heavyweight division to 380 kg (170-210). At the time he was only 18 years old. He then won the junior world title (U 20) in the light heavyweight division in Sofia . In addition, he sufficed in the duel 371 kg (170-201), with which he referred the Chinese Hu Chen, who came to 352 kg (156-196), on the 2nd place.

In January 2011 he confirmed his good form at the Russia Cup in Kazan . He achieved there as the winner in the light heavyweight 378 kg (170-208). He was therefore also used by the Russian head coach Dawid Rigert at the European Championship 2011, which also took place in Kazan, and gave his Russian compatriot and defending champion Alexei Jufkin a great fight there. After the snatch he was leading with 173 kg in front of Jufkin, who won the push with 215 kg to 212 kg. Both athletes, Auchadow and Jufkin, achieved 385 kg in a duel. Jufkin was a few grams lighter than Auchadow and was thus European champion in a duel, while Auchadow took 2nd place. At the Junior World Championship 2011 (U 20) in Penang, Apti Auchadow achieved 378 kg (172-206) in a duel and was defeated by the Iranian Kianoush Rostami , who also came to 378 kg (168-210), only because of the higher body weight. In November 2011 Apti Auchadow was also used at the World Seniors Championships in Paris in the light heavyweight division. However, he was not in good shape there and only made one valid attempt in both snatch and push. With his duel performance of 370 kg (168–202), he only came in 5th place.

Auchadow started doping at the Olympic Games in London in 2012 and was able to take second place in the end.

In 2013 Apti Auchadow took part in the European Championships in Tirana and won there with the personal best of 388 kg (173-215) the title in front of Ivan Markow from Bulgaria, who was clearly behind him with 375 kg. At the Universiade in Kazan in July 2013, he only lifted as much as was necessary to win, that was 372 kg (167–205) in a duel. He won ahead of his compatriot Artjom Okulow , who came to 371 kg (168-203). Apti Auchadow then presented himself in fantastic form at the highlight of 2013, the World Cup in Wrocław. He achieved there in a duel 387 kg (175-212) and was thus in a superior style world champion in front of the Bulgarian Ivan Markov, who came to 381 kg and his compatriot Artyom Okulow, 381 kg.

doping

Auchadow was doped at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Extensive follow-up tests that took place in 2016 showed that he had taken anabolic steroids . He had to surrender the silver medal stolen from London . Instead, it went to Iranian Kianoush Rostami, who had previously placed third .
