The Aquarius II dwarf galaxy , also known as Aquarius II or Aquarius 2 for short , is a dwarf galaxy of the type dSph discovered in 2016 in the constellation Aquarius in the Local Group and one of the satellite galaxies of the Milky Way .

Aqr II dSph with a surface brightness of one of the most difficult galaxies to detect with the means of observation of 2016. The dwarf galaxy has a half-light radius of r h = (5.1 ± 0.8) ′, which corresponds absolutely to (159 ± 24) pc . The galaxy has a stellar velocity dispersion of .
