Aras Özbiliz (born March 9, 1990 in Bakırköy , Istanbul , Turkey ) is an Armenian - Dutch soccer player and is currently under contract with FC Pjunik Yerevan .
Career
society
Özbiliz emigrated with his Armenian family from Istanbul as a child and grew up in the Netherlands. He started his career at HVV Hollandia. Later Özbiliz went to the youth academy of Ajax Amsterdam , from where he was promoted to the second team Jong Ajax in 2009 . He made his professional debut in the Eredivisie on November 28, 2010 when he came on as a substitute for Teemu Tainio in a 2-0 win against VVV-Venlo after the half-time break . With Ajax Amsterdam Özbiliz was twice Dutch champion.
In August 2012 Özbiliz moved to FK Kuban Krasnodar and ran for the first time for the club on August 20 at 1: 2 on matchday five in the away game against Alanija Wladikawkas . At the end of the 2012/13 season he finished fifth with FK Kuban Krasnodar. In the summer of 2013, Özbiliz moved to Spartak Moscow and placed sixth with the club in his first two seasons.
In the winter transfer period of the 2015/16 season, Özbiliz moved to Beşiktaş Istanbul, his country of birth, and was loaned to Rayo Vallecano in Spain ; he came to only three missions for the Madrid club. In the summer of 2016 Özbiliz returned to Istanbul and became Turkish champions with the club at the end of the season. In the winter transfer period of the 2017/18 season he was awarded to Sheriff Tiraspol to Moldova.
In August 2018, Özbiliz returned to the Netherlands on loan and joined Willem II Tilburg . The following year he was then firmly committed to FC Pyunik Yerevan .
National team
In October 2011 Özbiliz got the Armenian citizenship and was presented there as a national player . On February 29, 2012 he made his debut in a friendly against Canada , where he also scored the goal to make it 3-1 in the 90th minute.
