Army derby
The Army Derby ( 군경 더비 ) was a football derby between the two professional military clubs Sangju Sangmu FC and Ansan Mugunghwa FC . This derby took place for the first time in 2013 in the K League Challenge . After the dissolution of Asan Mugunghwa FC, the successor club from Ansan, the derby will no longer take place.

prehistory
In 2011 the military association Sangju Sangmu FC was founded in Sangju by the South Korean military. The sense behind this club was that you could let conscript professional players continue to play in the military clubs, where they could also do their military service at the same time. After Sangju Sangmu FC K League was relegated from the first division in 2012 , they met Police FC in the newly founded K League Challenge. Police FC is the second professional military club in South Korea. In 2013 Sangju Sangmu FC played against Police FC, in 2014–2015 they played against Ansan Police FC, and in 2016 the club was renamed Ansan Mugunghwa FC. In 2017 the club moved to Asan and renamed Asan Mugunghwa FC . At the end of 2019, however, this club was dissolved, so that the derby can no longer take place.
