According to tradition, St. Armin died with his mother for his Christian convictions. The time and place of the martyrdom are unknown, but an early veneration in Egypt and Abyssinia ( Ethiopia ) can be assumed. This would indicate that Armin lived in Egypt and died there. According to the ecumenical lexicon of saints, however, Armin means coming from Armenia.
