The Armstrong Siddeley Special is a superclass -Pkw, which the British manufacturer Armstrong Siddeley 1932-1937 as successor to the 30 hp produced.

The Special was available as a touring car, limousine or Pullman limousine. All superstructures had four doors. All four wheels were attached to rigid axles. The front axle was suspended from semi-elliptical longitudinal leaf springs, as was the rear axle. The latter was a novelty, as the rear axle of the predecessor still had a cantilever suspension .

Like its predecessor, the engine was an overhead six - cylinder in - line engine with a displacement of 4960 cm³ (bore × stroke = 88.9 mm × 133.4 mm). The 5.2: 1 compression engine had two SU carburettors and developed 124 bhp (91 kW) at 3200 rpm. The engine block was cast from Hiduminium , a special aluminum alloy . The rear wheels were driven via a manual four-speed gearbox and a cardan shaft. The maximum speed of the car is given as 140 km / h.

Only 253 copies of the Special were made by 1937. Then the production of the big car without a successor was stopped.
