Arne Fuhrmann (actor)

Arne Fuhrmann (* 1943 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

After graduating from high school in 1962, Fuhrmann began studying sociology and media studies in Hamburg and Munich. He later took acting lessons, including from 1982 at the Susan Batson Drama School & Actor Studio in New York.

Fuhrmann had engagements in several theaters, including the State Theater Kassel , Landestheater Schleswig-Holstein , Marburger Schauspiel, Goethe Theater Frankfurt, Teatro d'Arte Scarello Vicenza (I) / Mainz (D) and the Kammerspiele Mainz.

He acted in several feature and television films, often in small and supporting roles. In the television film Hugo Junkers - Der Ikarus von Dessau (2005) from the history of Central Germany series , he played the leading role of the aging Hugo Junkers . The science fiction short film Fetish with Arne Fuhrmann in the leading role was awarded the German Short Film Prize in gold in the category of feature films up to 7 minutes in 2002.
